    Default Airbrushing cranks

Well I got inspired by gasper Goul and Scottv and decided to break out my airbrush and paint some cranks. It's a lot of fun and a little learning curve with the different type of paint used. Only prob now is the crank bite will fall off and I will have to wait for next year to try em lol. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410799824.720886.jpg

    Looks nice.

Last year we were hammering crappie on cranks on KY Lake into the middle of October. They were still biting well as long as the water temps stayed up about 70. I switched back over to longline gear as it cooled on down.

Never thought about painting the bill. I haven't cranked late in the yr like this. Will try them out but was thinking the bite might slow on the crank.

Some folks do paint the bill.....but it gives the bait a longer profile larger bait look to the fish......sometimes that can be good.....sometimes not.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
