Whatever lake ya'll decide would be great. I just want to come down and fish ya'll and drink a few beers. Might have some of ya point me in the rigjt direction cause I know nothing about your lakes. Rees, you told me you could when I bought that handheld gps off ya and you didn't leave me any way points. LOL.
I'll hold ya to that buddy.
Blue, RUN for the hills when I saw were coming up your way to investigate a location LOL
Ok everyone shut up:Rofl. and I will tell you where it needs to be...... Lots of water, More then enough crappie, OOOhhh Big crappies....Talking about the kind you have to use an ironing board fer a fillet table. Lots of space for camping, Plenty cabins for the rich guys and gals. Also has to have an open spot for my Direct TV dish to find that stinking thing in outerspace. Where I can see what the weather is like. And lets don't ferget the best. Lots of Crappie.com people to enjoy good times...
What we don't want, That old man (Just Kidding buddy) from IN. yes you know who I is talking about. Has his own beer cooler with his face on it. Bad luck follows that old man everywhere he goes. Remember at Paris Tn me and Ted went to find Toms house. Well give up on that and found a KFC and tried to see who could eat more Chicken... And soft serve Ice cream...
Now for the perfect spot to crappie camp. Anywhere its at and fishing could be good. But fellowship is great. But I do agree with Enid for spring and Fall. As I like to single pole fish Sardis and could fish it if its on fire. Or fish Big G lake if its turning out those hogggssss. Or Enid if its hot. Best of the Big three and man is it time yet...........
Pete
Any word yet on which lake it will be, just want to make plans as soon as possible. Thanks
It will be posted as a sticky at the top of the MS Off Topic page whenever its decided
I have done a little research as to whats available, dates will be an issue this spring with Easter falling the way it will and Enid's cabins are booked in advance for the next 2 years in March and April.
Some said they wouldn't go back to the campgrounds at Sardis because of the parking situation. Scott and I are going over to the campgrounds at North Graysport to look at them, SFCannon says they are really nice and with Hambones Cabins being just across the river everyone could be within 4 or 5 miles of each other if they wanted to be.
Dates is what really sux, March 14th is the FJ at Grenada (wouldn't be bad), march 21st is the MCC big Moma on Grenada, March 28th is the Crappie Masters on Grenada, April 4th weekend is Easter, April 11th is the FJ at Enid, April 18th and 25th are both open dates. Mid April is some of the best single poling we have down here so those dates aren't bad at all and we normally have more water.
Well theres a run down, someone can put up some polls, as usual I wont vote. Yall decide and I will be there if I can.
