Been on 5 hrs. now , its looking good....just did a mop down and wrapped and its back in the smoker. I researched on google and read a bunch different ways etc. to do it...I kind of combined a couple with my own ideas.....be interesting to see how it turns out. I think its going to be good.

Don't see no smoke ring around edges of meat
I know....but its got the smoke taste....one reason for lack of smoke ring might be because I used apple wood instead of hickory......its not quite as heavy....dunno, that's just a guess. But anyhow its sure tastes good and I am pleased since its my first one.Quote:
