That is the main reason I'll never waterfowl hunt in your neck of the woods with my labs. I can't imagine anything that would be worse for me than to lose one to a gator.
We have cottonmouths out the wazoo right here at my studio but they don't scare me like gators would when it comes to my labs.
I saw where the new world record gator recently killed in Alabama had a whole doe in his stomach.
