Looked on facebook, one person said a little girl from Southaven and another said a17 year old girl from Jackson but haven't seen anything on a news station to confirm

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is issuing an Amber Alert for the child, Katelyn Beard.
She was last seen accompanied by the suspect, Dewayne Thompson. They were last seen traveling east on Lynda Street in Jackson, Mississippi, in a 2009 Nissan Altima. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the child, the suspect or the vehicle, please call the Mississippi Highway Patrol at 1-855- 642-5378.

wonder if all the police on I55 northbound were out this morning for this. They were from Hernando to southaven at every exit and putting out the tire trips.
saw another 15 or so heading southbound. It was crazy
