When I was flying offshore back in the late '70's, I saw many wells drilled and capped. They are all over in the Gulf!!

Thousands, capped temporarily due to the current pipeline infrastructure in the Gulf. One must weigh the economics of installing boosters and compressors on current caissons/small platforms. We will deal with that later if need be. You must have been flying when Kris Kristofferson was flying for PHI in the Gulf.

The ethanol issue is politics.

Not anymore... Diesel being low sulfur now, cost more than gasoline to refine
