Yes, my 522 has two 26 gallon tanks

My old rig also held 50 gallons. The extra weight actually helps stabilize the boat in rough waters. I just filled it up when I bought it, then topped it off about every third trip or so.

Single 60 gallon tank on mine. It's rough on the pocket if you let it get low.
