The hull was basically copied from Xpress. It will be great in the Rough Stuff because of the 18 Degree Rake and Pad Hull!!! The Xpress Hull and now the Excel's is a Sweeeeeet ride when you NEED it!!!!!!! Handles 3' rollers with ease, without the pounding a Mod-V gives ya!!!!!Quote:

I used to say that about my old PK. Whatever you do, don't fish out of a big glass boat. I've fished a couple times with folks in nice big tin boats since getting my ranger. The up-down rocking drives me nuts. Didn't bother me when I was fishing out of tin, but I guess I'm spoiled now.Quote:

You can pick up a used 20' bass boat in good shape with low hours for 10k. I just want something that rides good for Sardis when the wind picks up.
Sure you can but you better be able or willing to learn to work on em or you will spend a fortune at the shop. A real clean glass boat is hard to come by at the rite price but they can be had.Quote:
