Aluminum Diamond Plate

Does anybody have a source for some strips of diamond plate aluminum to replace step pads on my boat trailer? Dimensions are around 12" X 33" for two pieces. I cannot find anything less than whole sheets.

Provine in Grenada will cut you whatever you want Pops, good price as well. They are on Airport Rd in Grenada.

Tigrett Steel and Supply in Tupelo will either cut it to size for you or you can buy a drop or a scrap and cut it yourself.

Check your local recycle place. Lots of aluminum items like toolboxes are dropped there and can be bought for scrap price per pound. Cut out what you need then sell the rest back to them.

My son was looking for some aluminum diamond plate. Needs a large sheet. He could get 1/4" in a 5x8 sheet, but a little to heavy. He'd like the 5 foot width. He found some 0.50 in a 4x8 sheet that will barely cover what he wants.

5X8 is an odd size, be hard to find.

Never heard of the 5X8, gonna run the price up I am sure. Might try calling down to Provine Cane, he has a lot of stock down there and can cut whatever to size for ya.

Take two 4x5's and weld em side by side on the bottom.
