Default Best place to buy a 5500w generator

Looking to set up my bowfishing rig, and don't want to pay $150 in shipping. Looking at the Briggs units, user them before and been pleased. Anybody know any more about these units than me or any advice on where to pick one up?

Look at "generator's direct" no shipping no tax. I bought a 5500 generac from them $720 to the door. they have all kind, so be sure you look at the right catagorie. Some of the portables and pro models are quite pricey. They also sell other lawn equipment. Just type in what you are looking for followed by the word direct. Lawnmower's direct has some great prices. I bought a weed eater from them, think I typed in string trimmer direct.

Seems like a lot of trouble for a rough fish. Heck, just text DD and he'll bring you all the stripes you want.

the look at the weight and db ratings, not just the price.I run a briggs powered 5000w on our rig,its kinda heavy and loud.Going to a pair of yamaha 2000 inverters soon.what kinda lights you using? Find you an old truck bed mat,Cut it in half.cover just the front and top of the genny.it will cut the noise a lot. WB...bowfishin aint like regular fishin...you hunt them down and killem !! almost like using dynamite but legal and all.Name: IMG_5330.jpg

Can you provide a link for those lights and show how they're mounted? I remembered this post but couldn't find it the other day

Call me when it's legal to shoot Crappie. Till then, I'd rather work on my outboard motor than ride around with a generator 20' from me at 4200 rpm slapping skeeters and oogling carp.
