Default Need a little help please!!!!!

I decided to upgrade my electronics today on my boat and me being the impatient person that I am didn't drill the proper size pilot hole while installing the transducer to the hull of the boat, well when I went to screw the bracket down I broke the screw off flush with the boat. And now I can't get the broken piece out. Tried drilling it out but having no luck. I'm wondering if I should just leave it alone and maybe it's in there for good. Any ideas?

About an 1/8 snap off in the hull. BTW it's a tin boat

Get a left handed drill bit to drill it out with......between the left handed torque, the heat from the bit...you will probably get it out before you drill all the way. Tupelo Hardware has them.....put your drill on reverse to use them
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

If that don't work, get some marine JB Weld put a dab over the broken screw. Then drill another hole and mount it.

If you used silicone on the screw before ya broke it, just leave it and move the ducer over a bit.
