    Default Ted Williams Outfit

I wonder who made Ted Williams product in 1942?
Since he and Sears signed a contract to add his name in 1960.

Everything I have found and read on things with his name on them were made by Pfluger. That outfit in the condition he says it is might be worth 200.00 to someone who is a Ted Williams collector.

This is the first I've seen with his name on it before 1961. So who carried them before Sears?

    Found this on google..........
Baseball and Fishing: Ted Williams--Angler (a Retrospective)

Ted Williams is perhaps the most famous of the baseball playing anglers. He was such an acclaimed angler that he was inducted in the IGFA Hall-of-Fame in 2000, and spent the majority of his post-baseball career (and a portion of his playing days) as a tackle merchant, both on his own (Ted Williams Inc. until 1961) and as a spokesman for Sears, Roebuck & Co. fishing tackle.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

G, not much history recorded about Ted. I've gone through 7 google pages. He had a radio fishing talk show, no dates. He tied his own flies that looked as good as real insects, no date. Signed with Sears in 1960, wrote 1 book with his and Sears names on it. First merchandise with his name on it was on sale at Sears in 1961.
