Back in the days of the Soviet Union, an American diplomat and his wife went out to dinner with a Soviet diplomat, Rudolph, and his wife. While walking to their destination, the American wife commented "looks like it will rain today.", whereupon Rudolph said "Nyet! Not going to rain today!". The American diplomat told his wife to be quiet and he would explain later. Afterwards, when they were alone, the American diplomat's wife said "Why did you tell me to be quiet? It looked like it was about to rain!" The diplomat then said to his wife "Because Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear!"
