    Default Donnie's Gnats

Do work well for crappie on a fly rod. Bite was very slow for us today, only catching 10 keepers but 2 of them came on Donnie's gnats
on my flyrod!!!!! We were easing up through some 4-5 foot water next to some grass and I just had to tie one on try it. Took a few minutes but I did luck up a couple of 11" keepers on them!!!!! I'd cast it and let it sink for. 15-20 seconds, then twitch it a few times. They nailed it a lot harder than they were minners of jigs. We lost 6-8 good fish at the. Oat thanks to the light bite but had fun.fushed around Ken n the misses for awhile. Beautif day on the water even though we didn't catch much.
