No sir, not a bit too old!!...lol Let me explain, I have tried many different spices on jigs..something like making a homemade smelly jelly trying to gain an advantage when the crappie r not biting ans I figure if I like it then they might.....never hurts to try...ya know?

I just put up rubs for all types of meats in the Recipe thread. Pork, chicken, beef and for BBQ as well. Good chance you already have all the spices at home already
