Fishin' Sux!!!

I have come to realize that fishin sux, I like catching much better. I know, I know, nothing like a nice peaceful day on the water just taking in the glory of what the Lord has made. The last few weeks a peaceful day has been extremely hard to come by on my home lake of Grenada, seems the ole girl is rather peed off or sumpin, then the wind has been just about as mad. Don't mind working for em but when you do the time you certainly want to reap some reward, Enid here I come, may not be no better for me but at least the landscape will be a little different.
I have seen 5 guys catch the biggest crappie of their life out of my rig this year, definitely some enjoyment in that.

I certainly hope Enid treats you better than it has been treating me lately. That is my home lake, and it has been nothing but nasty.

Don't feel bad abut not going much. Heck with the wifes back surgery I haven't been at all. But better days are ahead.

All I've been doing this year is fishin. Catching has been tough for me.

Grenada is just letting the good Lord protect them big ole sows. Might have a big spawn ifn y'all can't get out there to catch em.

Heck man,,,, I've burned up 2 tanks in the boat alone while uncounted truck fuel, while only bring home like 6 crappie so far this year,,,, Yesterday, I helped one guy who sunk his boat while trying to load at engineer point in 30 mph winds ...then, I Got waived down today to help another back to the other side of the lake because he ran out of fuel,,,,..so another day,,, another freaking 100 dollar bill burned,,,all for the love of that THUMP,,,,,, talk about being addicted,,, I need to find another sport,,,lol

That wind has most of us aggravated. That time of year but worse than normal for sure. No worries though, we have freeze and frost warnings for tonight!!!!
