Default I Pilot Terrova and Lowrance

Going to install I pilot terrova on my ranger and I have lowrance hds5 on front. Any advice on the install before I start? looks like the transducer cable is thicker on lowrance than on the birds. Removing terrain minn kota. Thanks for the help!

I may have one, save you a few bucks. If you are buying new its worth the extra bucks for the I link. I really like the link and I am running Lowrance as well. Records some sptolocks and the go back feature is awesome.

My advice: before you devide where to mount the hds, sit in your normal position and put your rods in the holders to make sure it's not obscured from view. Also, with a 5, your gonna want it as high as you can get it, like a Ram, or a mount like hi-tek has. Think EZ may have a solution too. Use the fuse that comes with it and keep a spare in the boat. Also, make sure mount location does not obstruct ingress and egress from the boat.
