    Default Anyone been Frog Gigging yet?


    Think it's about time to break Nessa in on Gigging. I used to do it alot as a kid and figure as a final redneckorize fro Nessa, that'd be perfect lol

    we don't have any frogs left up here much. used to we had lots of really big frogs and had no problem getting a scack full. we didn't gig we caught them with hands mostly. they still have some over in the delta but not much in the hills.

    ya'll catch em all or did they just not reproduce? We gonna give it a try. I know a few places I can drive rigth up to and put the little boat out. Got that 45 lb thrust TM so it ought to be just right for the shallows

    we didn't catch em all they just slowing dissappeared but you hardly ever see a bullfrog up here that would be big enough.

    That's a shame you don't have many left. We have plenty up here..my little ole 3/4 acre pond kept us in legs most of the summer. We have a nice sized creek that runs thru the property and they continually migrate up that creek to my pond, and I accommodate them every chance I get. Love it.

    I SHOULD be able to find them on the rez. Know 3 or 4 spots that I can drive right down to and put in. I will be totin my pistol for gators n snakes though JUST IN CASE

    Don't get caught shooting a gator without a gator permit or if out of season...pretty high fine lol

    Yeah, you would probably get off easier shooting somebody.

    We used to grab frogs a lot by hand when I was young. We always went to the delta. Big C caught one in the middle-of-the-road of Hugh White state park last weekend. I don't know what that big ole frog was doing up in the hills.
