Default My dad loved to eat Crappie

Just didn't ever have the patience for fishing. As some of yall know my dad went into the hospital in December for colon cancer and has been battling every since then. He never got to go home since then and today he lost his battle with cancer. He fought a good fight but in the end he was tired and wanted to rest.

I didn't get into crappie fishing until a couple of years ago but I would have liked to taken him once just didn't get the chance.
We did share several hunting trips together though and I'll miss him alot.

Remember to get them check-ups guys and gals.

    Marty,
So sorry to hear of your loss.
I don't know you but we share a common thread. I lost my Dad to colon cancer and then my older brother who was only 55. So, if your doctor or your wife has not already given you marching orders, get screened every 5 years. I have a colonoscopy every 5 years since we lost my brother. It does run in the family, but it is preventable and treatable if you catch it in time.
So let some good come from loss and get yourself checked.
Prayers for you and your family.
