clfarms1, I think you have miss judged the distance from Enid to Grenada. I stayed last Thursday nite at Jerkinmeat's trailer, "bless my heart". It is very near the Long Branch Ramp at Enid, I left his place at 6:00 am and was at Lake Way in Grenada buying minnows within 25 minutes.
You have a good idea Chris and those traveling real long distances usually stay several days or a week....heck they would have time to fish all three lakes if they wanted too. The camp hosts at Cossar are very good also....not nit picky like at other places.
Must be closer than I thought. but would make no difference as I would drive and not bother me.
The cabins at Cossar are awesome, but there are a lot fewer of them than at Hugh White. Has that been a problem when you had camp at Enid in the past?
It is THE best set up over there no doubt, Steven if you are staying at Cossar you can be at Grenada Landing in 30 minutes. Cabins and camper spaces all within walking distance of each other if you chose to.
Alright I vote to make it permanate at Enid then.
Say we set Enid, Cossar SP as our fall camp for every year. I'm fine with that idea.
Now how about spring camp, we move about the state? Starting new Nader would be re-entered into the poll. Divide the state into north, central and south. Select 1 lake, campground from each section. That would mean that a person from the section would have to do the checking on other accommodations besides campgrounds. A site can't be re-entered for 3 years.
