The boat don't leave without her, I do go with a friend every now and then but most of the time she is with me.

After a pretty successful day on the lake the girlfriend put in an official request for a double seat up front and three more 14' poles. She was tired of bush league in the back of the boat. So tired, in fact, that she got up front and ran the trolling motor, watched the graph and managed to catch three of the biggest fish of the day.
How many of y'all have wives or girlfriends who like to fish and stay at it?

In my opinion getting the wife seriously involved in fishing is a two sided story. On one hand if she goes with you she isn't gonna be giving you crap about fishing too much. On the other, there is gonna be times when you just want to fish with the guys, and then you run the risk of her being aggravated both because you are going and because she doesnt get to go. Honestly though I think once they start to learn and we no longer feel like we are baby sitting them as opposed to fishing it can be pretty fun to fish with the wife.
Mine loves to go with me and I really enjoy her going, but like bowhunter said its hard to get away and fish by yourself or your buddies with out a lil fuss, LOL
my wife goes with me a lot. she loves to fish plus she just loves being on the water period.
sometimes me and SFCANNON fish together and we both get fussed at cause we left the wives.

With her most of the time. I do have a few friends that want to go and I'll take them though

My Fiancee fishes with me some and always tells me to go fishing when she doesn't want to go....gotta love that
I take my wife--but she just sits in the back and reads--she likes to get out but doesn't really want to fish--and she can only stand being out for 3 or so hours, and it's dependent on the wind/weather, and well-you get the point![]()
Now, my girlfriend is NOT a morning person. If I want to fish alone or with friends we just get an earlier start and she's out.
