    Default Sixteen ft. trolling rod

Of these four rods..What is your preference for the lite bite we had at Grenada? PST, BGJP, Capps and Coleman, or Ozark

They will all work well. If I had to choose only one, I'd go BGJP's

What Reese said but....you need to hold and feel each of these rods....then get the one that feels the best to you. I like Capps and Colemans......some people hate them.....so you need to go somewhere where you can hold and feel all of them.....That way you won't have to buy 40 something rods like I did lol
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

"G" I agree with what you said in theory but unfortunately it's only part of the story. As you know, the real difference is how the pole reacts when you load it up with a heavy crappie or fish it in the wind that really matters. A test drive of each one or a side by side comparison would be ideal. I know this is often impossible to do but if you can trade a pole for a day with a buddy you would at least be able to make a more informed decision.

I have three C&Cs and I have three PSTs on the way. The C&Cs are nice, but I want something a little less limber that I can use to pull crankbaits with as well.

Fish with PST and Ozarks side by side. For the lighter bite, the PST. I like the backbone of the Ozark on the big fish. I pull cranks with both and either work very well.

Spider rigging (Especially for cooler weather and a Lite Bite)--C and C's, BGJP's

Multi Purpose (SR, Pushing, Pulling)---Ozark, PST, BROOM handle with string.

    Best all around pole--IMO--Ozark.
