No rebuilding needed but the seats I'll have to find at one of those places. They are 5/8 x 20t but not like anything made today. Cleaned out all the chewed up seals that were packed in the diverter and put it back together until I can get seats.
Southaven supply would be better. They can tell you what brand it is too.
Mine had Citation on the handles, they told me they were made by another company, marketed by Citation.
Try Ace hardware They have alot of older parts

Southaven Supply will be the only place if any that will have the seats I need. I've looked at every book and online place there is just to find one that exactly the same and there aren't any. This stuff is so old it was probably a one off anyway and probably hasn't been made in decades. Good thing is once I got the diverter cleared of old chewed up seals from the other valves I can fill the tub up in less than 5 minutes--probably close to 3 minutes. It hasn't run this good since we bought the house. Told the wife I will just keep seals on hand until I can get the proper seats--and told her not to tighten down the hot and cold too much which will help the seals last a little longer.
My other house was built in '69 and sat vacant until I bought it in '73, so I have some old fixtures too. With the 5 of us in the house the seals wouldn't last over 6 months. Seats, a year, diverter about 1 1/2 years. The last trip to Southaven supply I bought a good size bag of handles, stems, diverters, seats and seals. My daughter lives in the house now. The son-in-law wants to replace the fixture, I told him no.
DD, this hardware store is about 15 miles from KDAVID1's house. The staff pretty well know how to help, not like HD and L's. Hardly every find that they don't have what you need. The nearest Ace is out past Mr. Jim's house. A 40 to 50 mile trip for KDAVID1. When I lived in Nashville, Ace was the first place I would go for hardware, mostly having everything I needed. I've been to this one here a few times and haven't found what I'm looking for. If I go to Ace online site, look up an item and locator I find it at the Nashville store but not either of the Memphis stores.
