Default Numbers on a small boat

I am wanting to take my small pond boat to grenada and fish in the river but it does not have numbers. Someone told me that I could use it as long as it had no kind of motor on it including trolling motor. Is that true? I would just haul it to river wuth 4 wheeler and piddle around with paddle if there's no current

Correct, don't need numbers if only using a paddel

Doubt it at Graysport and current is gooa eat you up. Go to Choctaw and try it, river is not for out from the ramp. Torrence would be another good option too for what you are trying to do.

No doubt there is current at Young's, lake has been on the rise all week and they are letting 1800 cfm out of the spillways. Old river run below the spillway would be a good option for sure, specially if you don't have Navionics on your phone or something to help find the river at Choctaw or Torrence.
