Did you put that whole squirrel in there or did you quarter it up and freeze part of it????

When my dad was alive we used to go to deer camp over in Ark. and we would get there a couple days before the season opened and we would scout around and kill us a mess of squirrels and we also took with us some chicken, beef and pork. We would add some veggies, potatoes, and make what we called Brunswick Stew. Some big ole cat head biscuits and we was in heaven. I know your dish looks really good and it brought back many fond memories for me! Thnx.

I boiled em down and pick the meat off the bones since Nessa hadn't ever eaten Squirrel. Think I got just under 2 cups of meat off the 2 tree rats. She made some Messican cornbread with it. HURT ourselves. LOL Main thing saturday was that Sadie tracked down the first squirrel I shot down. I was very proud of the pup
