I got the same smoker for christmas. Ive never smoked any in my life and I loaded it up with ribs yesterday and they turned out awesome. I even threw some shrimp in the last hr and they were awesome as well. Good luck.

I've had one for several years and love it. On Thanksgiving and Christmas I rub a Turkey down with Cajun seasoning, bacon grease, inject it with Garlic and Butter sauce and put it on the rack just above the water pan that has water and Apple juice in it. I rub a Ham down with seasoning and put it on the rack above the Turkey. The ham juice drips down onto the Turkey and adds more flavor to the Turkey. They get done at the same time. Man they are good.
