yes. If I go with the 24 volt I was thinking of just storage them up front. I kind of hate giving up that storage up front that's where I keep my tackle, paddle, rain gear etc. but I would to have the 24 volt

The batts in the front will do something else too, will act as a ballast and help with the bounce on windy days.
Had the 12 volt 55 lb power drive v2 and purchased the Ipilot link 80 while pulling cranks. The difference is daylight and dark unless you're only going to pull cranks for about 4 hours. If winds 5 to 10 only got about 2.5 to 3 hours against the wind.
Although the Lakemasrer maps aren't ready for the big four, I was told by a Hummingbird rep we may get Sardis and Enid in 2014. Grenada was iffy according to the HB rep.
