I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Batesville, nice, but I didn't take my boat there. Parked the boat at a friend's house.

Would like some input on accomadations at Sardis. Seems like most of the local motels are 2 or 3 star. Are they rundown or what? Are there cabin rentals?

I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.
I sayed at the cabins at the state park. they will do but the ones at chickasaw look a lot nicer but then again they cost more to stay at. Some of the ones at the state park dont even have a outside outlet to plug in your boat, you need 100 feet of cord and have to go through the window to plug it in.
The two motels at Sardis are old and the local inhabitants are known to pilfer. I usually recommend either the State park cabins on the cheap. Chickasaw cabins if you have it in your budget or one of the chain hotels in Batesville.
