Going to replace the impeller for my water pump this weekend. Its a 2001 model Yamaha and I have never done anything like this before. What do I need to know? Motor need to be neutral or reverse? Im clueless!

Where ever you have the motor at as far as gears just dont move any of that once you take it off. Watch some You Tube videos for your model motor. Easy peasy following a couple of different vids.
