just hard for this ole timer to get excited when gas drops below three bucks. you young whippers should have been around in the late 50"s when they would have a gas war and it got down to nineteen cents a gallon. you know, now that i think about it nothin excites me anymore except waking up in the morning and....

Bought a new mower a few years ago. $6.28 to fill it up. Told the clerk that Iused to fill up my 67 chevelle ss396, take my girl to the movie and get us each a popcorn and soft drink and still have a quarter for the service station restroom machine left over.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
