I guess anything is possible but all the side pulling boats that I have seen were aluminum boats and either stick steer or tiller steer....no consoles

I didn't want to hijack the other thread, but onthe topic of tin vs. glass, has anyone ever seen anyone side pull with glass? That's our primary technique, so we use tin. I've considered going with a SC tin over the tiller steer, but I'm afraid the SC would either be in the way of the side mounted trolling motor, or at the very least would make it difficult to operate. Any glass boat or side console side pullers out there?

Thanks for the response G. I know that the tin boat with the tiller or stick is the norm, but I was curious if anyone else was making anything else work for them, and how they liked, or disliked a different setup.
Most of the ones I have seen also have three or four swivel seats down the center of the boat.....so I can see where a console would definitely be in the way. The nicest rigs I have seen for side pulling are larger stick steer boats made by WarEagle.

At our fall camp a young man from over there was camped next to me. He has a WarEagle console steer and all he does is side pull. He didn't like it much. Trying to fish off the bench seat and run trolling motor from behind console was very awkward. I have a WarEagle 754VS stick steer that is set up for side pulling and he really liked that set up. The only glass boat that I can think off that might work really well is the late 80's early 90's ranger fisherman series with tiller steer motor. Like G said these are wide open and have several seating positions. Though these are hard to find and very desirable boats. I guess anything is possible but most glass boats are not laid out right for side pulling and being comfortable.

A large Carolina Skiff styled fiberglass w/ a small side console would be just as good as tin boat IMO.
