walleye bottom bounchers on ebay with or without weights on them, I think these would work just have to make loops on the ends, on some only one wire needs bent to loop
I've got spools of .032 and .041 but man it just feels too flimsy.Quote:

The wire I'm using comes wound into a circle but it straightens out as you unwind it. It's around 100 ft on the spool. I start with a piece about 13" long and bend it with round jaw pliers. The .035 size is plenty stiff, it takes a lot to bend it.Quote:

That's what I was trying to prevent. If the top leg of your wire rig is 6 1/2 inches long and the line on the end of it is only 6 inches long, you don't tangle. The bottom line with the egg sinker is 12 inches long. The orange jigs you mentioned are just dressed up minner hooks. I tie them like a jig but no lead head.Quote:
