    Default Bead detectors

Okay I saw this on some rods of meatgetter a and liked the idea. Only problem I had was if you get a little slack in the line the bead would tangle.

Contemplated the idea and found my solution. I run a separate piece of line from the rod tip through the bead to the first rod guide loosely. If it is tight it won't rattle. Then run your main line through the bead as normal. Tangles went away as the bead couldn't get slack from the separate line tie through it. Hope this helps everyone. I saw the topic of the jingle bells but like my rattlers better.

That sound interesting. I use two beads, but they still get tangled with slack. I like your idea. Give us a picture of this rig John.
