    Default Alpha stim therapy

ever heard of it until a few weeks ago I was seeing my Dr. and was asking what some options to take care of my back pain, well surgery is out I am a high risk ,and I want get off this pain meds.Well he mentioned that he heard the VA was giving this device a trial run and was looking candidates and if i was interested he would check it out, next day i got a call from a DR at the VA set up an appointment.Well i went in and my soninlaw went with me because i cant walk that far, about 150yrds. went in and met the Doc and she explained what it is well its a little device about the size of a cell phone and it puts out micro current thru damaged nerves. The therapy lasted 1 1/2 hrs. When it was over i was able to stand up and walk out of there pain free and it lasted 4-6 hrs i had 2 mores treatments last week with the same results. The VA is getting me one so i can take the treatments at home on a daily basis. Will keep you posted later with more results.

That's great news Mr. Jim. They've surely come a long way in pain management. I'm glad the VA could fix you up. Maybe you'll be able to hook that device up to your trolling motor batteries so you can spend some time in the boat.
