this might be a silly question but is there any reason that it cant be the same weekend as the fj tourney on enid and have it at enid or would it be too big of a conflict. Arkansas is the weekend before and then if Mo was the weekend after it would let anyone like bill bob attend 1 2 or all 3 of them. I for one would love to see all the big fish weighed in from the tournament and it will let the most people attend. The ones that arent going to fish the tournament could help with getting things started on the cooking and such and it would probably be a great turn out. It might cut down on the partying alittle bit on friday night for some but that wont hurt either. Just my :twocents worth. It might be good to get with the folks from Mo to see it that works for them and will help them in planning also.
That particular tourney is part of The Worlds Biggest Crappie Festival held by the town of Water Valley, its a MCC event that we fish along with and the day is pretty much shot by the time its all over. As far as big fish being weighed in that tourney, that wasn't the case the last 2 years at Enid during that tourney.
I would love to be able to attend one of the camps, but I won't make a vote as I have not been to a previous one. The thing that I've noticed from all the posts is that no one is mentioning any February dates. Why not consider having it in mid to late February? I cannot speak for any other lake, but Enid is a fine place to fish in February. It wouldn't technically be a "spring camp," but winter in Mississippi ain't really winter.

Feshing is WAY better in April than Feb on Nader and the others as well, matter fact if that is the date considered I would take Grenada off the table, Sardis or Enid would be better choices. A date may need to be decided first and then the place depending on the date.

I agree G but are the numbers not gonna be better if it is at a time when the feshing would be good. The ones of us that are close enuff to go to the Saturday gathering don't have much expense but the ones that haul campers or rent rooms and pull a boat would prolly enjoy catching some fesh while here as well.
I agree G thats the main reason I came down for fall camp. Whenever and where ever you decide to have it I will try to make it down and will come early to fish your great crappie lakes. But I want to meet the guys and gals that couldnt make it to fall camp.Quote:

The fishing sucked at Pickwick, for EZ and I, but I still had a great time. I'm planning on coming to Spring Camp, wherever it is, a few days early and fish. Somewhere that the fishing would be good would make it a double great trip.
