    Default Speaking of Flowers.

there were several of us that were out at a friends BDay party saturday and one guys moving. He knows I'm ripping out most of the plants at the new place and asked if I wanted some of the flowers he has that grow in his trellace. Said they were called PASSION Flowers and bloomed all summer long. I asked him to send me a picture of the flowers, thinking that they'd work great over at my rear gate out by the pool. It's got a small pergola there and It'd be like walking though a tunnel to get to the pool area. Can anyone tell me what type of flower they really are? You ALL know what it is if you can put it together

Yep. I had never heard them called Passion flower. All I knew was they grew alot on old country road and popped real loud the harder you hit someone in the head with them. LOL really is a pretty flower. Jelly? Never heard that before

well kiss my grits. You can use the leaves to make tea as well

its leaves make a calming tea and its round maypop fruit make sweet treats for wildlife and jelly-making. Passionflower also provides nectar for several butterfly species and is a host plant for their larvae.
