Nature's way of cleaning house, see it almost every summer when we don't get much rain.

I was talking to Big C one day and he seemed to think those fish have to have current much like a trout or they will die. He said the same thing happened at Tunica after the river got out and there was no current. Sounds reasonable.Maybe that will be our salvation as far as COE lakes go!

Don't know if I buy that theory. Didn't they get here by the catfish farmers that put them in there ponds to eat the algae? No current there!

The catfish farmers probably use grass carp ( white amur) a triploid hybrid. That's what I have in my pond....they do not raise
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
