Default Mechanics talk that scares you

I got all the front ends items fixed on the truck but about 3 weeks ago, I got the DEATH WOBBLE again. You hit a bump and the whole truck shakes. Just had that fixed in May but for some reason it came back. I finally got around to taking it back to the shop to see what was up. Well, It was the Idler arm AGAIN. Here's the part that will not allow me to ever take it back to that mechanic. "Well, we put on a Heavy Duty one this time."
Ummmm, I have a 4 wheel drive pickup truck, shouldn't you have put a heavy duty one on to start with? BTW, is it common place for something to go out that was fixed 4 months ago and they charge you labor? He hit me up for $86 yesterda

Hate that wobble. Kills tires too. Had a Chevy van that when tires got 5000 miles on them watch out. Hit a bump and it would start to shaking. Felt like the pistons were swapping holes. Took a bump to get everything into harmonics.

Just didn't know if they did or not. Only reason I took it to him is cause he's right around the corner from the office. I can drop it off and be back working in 5 minutes

it sucks, but it is what it is, I got charged 30 dollars to have a battery tested, and they sold me the replacement battery. should have read the ticket before I paid, wont go back there ever again, I guess the days of the ole shade tree mec. are gone and we are doomed. Hope the new rod hold up, to dangerous to let go............

Most shops warranty parts only and not labor which is understandable.....its not their fault if parts are defective. However if it was because it was not installed properly then they should

Did, set up the way you are you ain't gonna get no warranty unless you go to off road hi performance parts and may not then. Be willing to bet you got ball joint troubles too but that's a guess, a good one but still a guess.
