I have learned my lesson Butla is terrible. Ryan tried to tell me but I had to find out for myself. We tried everything. If I was in charge of fj's we would have a vote to change lakes. But if you got the money and time knock yourself out.Today was the worst I have ever had spider rigging, pull cranks, single pole. And we tried it all. Good luck

Drove down the other day and had a look, all I can say is pffffttt that grass in hurricane behind bird island is at least 12ft tall now I know why nobodys catching anything.Fish are buried in the grass, lakes gonna have to get 216 or lower to get em out of there.

We fished a championship at Enid in 2012 only taking just over 7 pounds to win it, 3 Butla fesh will weigh that. Just cause fesh are harrd to catch doesnt mean you change a tourney date, unsafe conditions due to weather or flooding yeah but not because they are hard to catch. I myself am looking forward to it, may not catch a fish but I like the lake and know it usually holds some thick fesh.
