Your young you can handle it
Can't you be like Mr. Miaggi and have a student do it. Like wax on, wax off?
LOL, Schools 25 miles away, Besides, I really don;t want a bunch of 6-11 year olds with a sling blade in their hands
I'm proud for you and Nessa cuz.
Aint nothin worse than a feller that cant take a joke.
I assure you I can take a joke with the best of them. I have been a member on here for quite a long time, I have never made a remark about a mans wife or kids in a negative manner, and I don't think anyone with kids or a wife would want any comments about them put on a public forum. Jmo. But I can assure you I can take a joke. I would like to appologize to DD for his thread getting hijacked if I caused it. Like I said, congrats DD on your new home.
Nice digs and that's one fine minner tank.
Congrats.
Congrats, know your happy, but pools are a lot of work to keep nice and clean.
Can't be that hard. Scoup out all the leaves daily, check the PH once a week. Then, I have some big inline tube I just drop Chlorine tabs into. There's some kinda deal that walks all over the pool cleaning it. I recon I have backwash the Filter a time or two a year. What else is there? I know NOTHING lol
You will find out......been there and done that for about 14 years lol
I spect G. I found this video of how to clean it. Looks like it'll take about 30 minutes or so every week for cleaning. How to Clean a Pool - YouTube
Ha.....good luck with that theory lol
Is it saltwater or chlorine? I have never understood how folks get that much saltwater to fill up their pool. They must have to have it brought in from the coast. Sure looks like a nice place. Rogerout
That would be called a Polaris. Daily up keep isn't really that bad, just wait till you get your first algae, it can take a lot of work to get rid of those things and can get costly. We are on our first full summer with a pool. My wife's aunt has had a pool for many years and she has been able to help us out a lot. We backwash ours once every couple of weeks. As many trees as you have around the pool you will need to check the skimmers every day. And so on and so on. Good luck with it.
Spend 10-15 minutes a day every day and you will be ok. Don't carry a water sample to your pool supply shop or they have you buying loads of needless crap. Get your ph right then your chlorine, add a little algaetrol every now and then. Backwash every few days and shock it a couple times a year, pretty simple. I hear the salt water systems are very nice.
Laserman is right about the algae.......if you ever get the red type you will have your work cut out for ya. One bit of advice though......use chlorine.....dont use the non chlorine stuff
They have that spot for 3" Chlorine Tabs. He (previous owner) said just to keep 4 or 5 in it and then shock it from time to time, plus check the PH. Other than that, its just cleaning once a week. Bout all we do with the Hot tub. We have a floating basket with Bromine tabs, then shock it and some clearafier when it gets cloudy. We have to get someone to move it and set it up for us sometime soon but I got to pick out the spot and build something to put it on plus get the 220 ran to it
Feesh, Ima get a testing kit for that
good luck on your new home, bud. Enjoy.
