The Big C

I decided that what I had to say should have its on thread and not clutter up some that is asking for prayer that is fighting this dreaded terrible problem.


I am sure that a cure for the big C could be cured. Funding for it could come from cutting out aid to other countries that don't like us to start with. I am sure there are other gov cuts that send other money to any county would go a long way to doing a lot right here at home.

Why in the world would it be about you. The money I am refering to is the money our gov throws away to other countries that would do a lot more good here at home.

My Dad died from bone cancer and I have several friends that have had fights with it and so far are still winning. All I was trying to voice is that I think a cure either has been found and tey do not want to lose the money from the research or that one could be found if our goverment were not bending over to kiss their collective rears to give money and aid to people that do not care one thing about this country and would be just as pleased if we were all on the street or living in caves.

Watched my mother struggle with it off an on for 9 yrs till it finally sent her to meet her maker. She was in a hospital in north Ms and I was on the way up there after I had gotten off work one afternoon, I walked in and my Stepdad came home to get some rest, I sat down beside her and took her hand and felt her squeeze it tight then she went to a better place. Was the saddest day of my life. I think everyone on earth has been hit with it in their family at one time or another, sure seems as much money that is thrown away on useless stuff in this country that they could do more. JMO

They will never cure cancer.Control it better? YES..but never a cure.To many different types of cancers and way to much money in the treatments.I believe the most hope lies in the gene research,but the drug companies only care about money...NOT a cure.If someone did come up with a cure,it would get bought out and shelved to keep the money flowing to the drug makers.Remember back in the 90s when some little company came up with a new battery that had the possibility to make electric cars a reality???One of the big oil companies wound up with the rights to the technology...Government did nothing.It's my belief the same thing would happen with a miracle cure.I hate to break it to ya,but big business runs things in this country.Of course this is my personal take on things and like many here on CC I pray for cure.
