    Question Dual seats

I have been wanting to put two seats in the front of my Nitro. This only issue is I would have to mount them to the rod box lids. Has anybody done this? If so did you use anything to strenghten the rod box lid. I have the rack that holds two seats but its kinda a pain to move around all the time, plus I sinlge pole when then conditions are right, and dont need that rack in my way. Any thoughts??

If there is nothing under the lid I would get a couple of 3/16 backer plates made as big as it would let me to put on the underside.

Check out the Dub-L-Seat that Wayne Ingram (Blacklandlure) makes. I love mine.

Found the website, Looks good but still not what I would like. I would like to put pole mounts in so I can reduce weight and see where I am going while running across the lake.

    Ideas:
Remove the lid and have a thicker one made.
Add a sheet of 1/4" aluminum to the lid.
Add a couple of pieces of 1" or 1 1/2" X 1/4" aluminum angle for supports.
