If you have not added a water separator filter system to you boat....you need to do so because eventually ethanol will create water problems....Put a water filter on it and change the cartridge every year. I do not use Startron ( its good stuff) but I use Marine/Stabil and have had no problems.
100% gas and keep filters changed = no problems. Its worth the extra trouble to find a station with pure gas

Two stroke? probably has carbs.....and if it does....with its age its probably time to have the carburetors cleaned and re-built.....grab hold of your pocket book lolQuote:

I always use RJ's, he is behind Duncan Marine on Old Fannin Rd. He has serviced my 40 hp merc four stroke on my Tracker and both of my 150 Yamaha 4 strokes on my center Console. He has always done me right. Just whatever you do DO NOT take it to Smith Marine by Shuckers. What a rip off!!
