    Default Grenada

I was planning on fishing grenada for the first time on Thursday and was wondering if the northeast wind is a bad direction for that lake. Thanks

As long as it doesn't turn too much east you can fish from the main lake point all the way down to graysport in all but a gale. Not a bad place right now either. Your only hitch might be crossing the lake. It tends to get rough if your coming out of Grenada Landing because you have so much open water to the north and east. Current forecast is 5-10 NNE so you should be fine. Just watch out for thunder boomers. They've been blowing in quick and after in the PMs with the current weather pattern.

What WB said, course I usually launch at Graysport or Choctaw so if its a north wind aint no worries at all, and you aint lying bout the thunderboomers WB.

thats where I would launch so to not have to worry about it, kinda the reason I ask about boat size and where he intended to launch. Coming out of any landing on the South side on the lake is not gonna be fun.

I will be fishing out of a 18 ft polarkraft. I figure if I listen to wannabe I should be guaranteed at least one fish.

And a ruff ride if the wind prediction holds up. Drive around and it won't be an issue
