    Default Polaris rangers

Been thinking bout getting one and just wondered if any of you guys had one and what size y'all had. I'm leaning towards the 400 or 500efi instead of the full size ones bc all I will do is just hunt on it. Any comments bout them is appreciated

Get an 800. Yes the others are cheaper but the extra money is worth the increase in horsepower.

Get u a kubota diesel and be done with it.

Actually, u UTV guys are nuts. For half the money u could have a spare 4wd truck with heat, air, radio and roll up winders.

I had one a 500 automatic......lot more power than I needed. I sold it last year. Heck you can buy a used four wheel drive mini truck with the steering wheel on the right for two grand and have a lot more room....a cab......and a bigger bed.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Been using a Ranger 900(or maybe 800), and its nice and all, but no fun if you have 3 people in your hunting party. Same way with my honda rancher. I have the stealth 48v 4x4 golf cart as well. And for hunting, that thing is the ticket. No exhaust smell, no engine noise, will seat 4 comfortably, or two with utility bed. The Rangers are for sure a nice machine. The one we hunted off of could pull a trailer thru a rice field. If you are using it only to commute to and from hunting spots, not dragging skid blinds or pulling food plot implements, get the one that fits your budget. And I have to agree with WB, go buy an extened cab Tayota 4x4 or an old bronco II. They are light weight, and you can drive them down four wheeler trails with heat, air, and a cab. Get what you think will suit your needs best. If not using it as a workhorse, just to save footsteps, no need to splurge on double the displacement.

Never been a fan of Polaris. Always seem to be lots of them for sale used. Just an observation...
