Running lines with my dad on the ms river. Was dodging storms this afternoon trying to get hooks in the water and get off in a hurry. I tossed the line over board but did not see the last hook dangling between my legs. Bam, the hook goes in to the bone and I'm rushing to get it out before I'm pulled over board. I ripped the hook out but it broke in the middle of the j. We finished putting lines out and then I go to emergency room to remove hook. 3 ex rays later they tell me there is no hook on your leg. Guess it came out somehow. I'm really happy because they told me I would have to schedule appt with a surgeon to remove it.
That was pure luck. Whew

Lucky for sure. Prayed to get us off safely thinking about the storms but did not think about that happening.
