Got the seat back out and the lids and carpet off the back deck. Mom helped me recover the seat backs this past weekend so that's done, just got to get this old glue up and cut my carpet out. Gonna have to pick up some aluminum pop rivets from Fastenall this afternoon to put the hinges back on.
Any suggestion as to removing the glue?

Paint scraper to get the carpet up that dont wanna come, hand sand it, I liked using the course paper. Made me feel like glue would stick better to rough surface, but never got to the actual painting or glueing. Hope it all goes well.
Ifn you was closer I have some rivets that's a lil better than pop rivets! Oh and I ain't sure how to get the glue up. Maybe denatured alcohol or methyl ethyl ketone would soften it up and prolly roll right off but be careful with MEK because it will take paint off also
Hope you put new latches on those front storage box lids![]()
