worried about the shower in the master bath. The diverter is still not working. have to take the whole shower unit out and replaces the swith and the housing, then put the unit back in. Trying to get an estimate now over the phone. Nothing exact, just a ball park figure. Any ideas?

Good luck DD. when I was building houses, if someone came back twice, they were most likely going to buy. If they came back a third time to look, the house is sold!!!

I hope so Chris. I am abit worried about that shower in the master bath though. Waiting on a plumber to call me back so I can get a rough idea on what it costs so I have room to wiggle. If they say $1000, I'll tell them I'll either fix it and leave the house price the same OR I can take $2500 off the house and not fix it. up to them

Can't do that with mine. the internal part of it are corroded so bad that you have to get behind the tub to get to it. BOTH my Bathrooms abut each other and there's no way to get the old one out and replace it without taking the entire unit out, fixing it and putting the shower unit back in place

Go through the wall from the back side . Much easier than taking all that out . Just saying .

Can't man. The other tub bathroom is right behind this one. The tubs have a common wall. I THOUGHT I was gonna do that until I got to looking for a wall to cut on. LOL I got a quote of $100 an hour and I can't see this taking more than a day to fix so IF they just have to have a shower (tub works fine) I'll give them the option of me fixing it and keeping the house at the same price or me knocking off a couple grand off the house

Come in from the wall on the back side to replace the diverter. No biggee. Now them swiths as you typed it, are expensive as hell. :D
