Going to put in at Haystack this morning and mess around withr the new boat. Hopefully i can find one or two dumb crappie hanging out around Lomg Lake.

Catch a mess . Or i like to catch my limit which is five after that i am fishing for some one else . Have a good time enjoy that boat .

Wind got up right as I was puting the boat in the water so I decided to just take her for a good ride. I did stop and try to fish once around marker 13 but didn't stay for long. Just played with the Minn Kota Riptide and ran the motor good. Saw a lot of people catching catfish but not a single crappie. Looks like I'm about to try and slim up the he boat with catfish in the next couple of days. Summer time crappie have me stumped.

one thing to remember. In the summer time when the thermocline sets up, those fish won;t be deeper than about 12 feet
