Iuka. Well got all loaded up and headed out before daylight this morning to give it a try. Just as I got 1/2 mile from Mill Creek Campground and boat launch, We met a truck and boat coming outtold my wife "that is not a good sign" and we went on down there and found this. I feel for most of the campers there, water was in some of them and under all but about 5 or 10. Holding water about 417 and normal summer pool on Pickwick is 414

Pickwick Dam is holding the water and Wilson has the gates open, or that is what I have heard. Here are some pictures of Goat Island Camp Ground (Yellow Creek at the start of the Tenn-Tom

fished Colbert ferry Friday and it was high . usually by late July it can be almost to low to put in there .![]()
eagle, I understand the high level is due to all the rain that Alabama got week before last. I went to the lake level website yesterday and the level 416.40 and summer pool is 414.00 and today I looked and its at 417.40 so its still rising. When they start to drop it I dread all the crap that will be out in the water floating, I notice a lot today while I was down at Goat Island and waverunners, ski boats and even a bunch of BIG yacht type boats had the water churning pretty bad and the fleas and skiers were running wide open. I figure will hear of someone getting hurt due to floating debris. I hope not but I know there was stuff I saw and the ones I hate are the one that you don't see that are just under the surface. that can be rough on the foot of a motor for sure.
Another one of those rent to never own campgrounds.
I could be up there looking for a toilet totes, save me about $300.
